Who We Are
Bridge HIV is a global leader in HIV prevention research. We work with Bay Area and global communities to find ways to prevent HIV. We are a clinical trials unit in the San Francisco Department of Public Health and are affiliated with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). We conduct research to guide global HIV prevention efforts.
Our research agenda focuses on interventions likely to prevent HIV. That research is funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH), the University of California, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We conduct HIV research in partnership with the HIV Vaccine Trials Network (HVTN), HIV Prevention Trials Network (HPTN), and the Adolescent Trials Network for HIV Interventions (ATN).
Our early work in the fight against HIV/AIDS has made us a trusted and renowned resource for understanding HIV infection and disease. Volunteering with Bridge HIV connects participants to a global network of people who are shaping strategies to end HIV/AIDS worldwide.
